School makes you spend your best years finding the answers to A, B, and C options on multiple-choice tests. But when you finish university and go to your first job interview, no one asks you about the Pythagorean theorem. Rather than being a genius working alone in a corner, an average young person who can build proper connections with people opens far more doors.
